So who here thinks Super Saver goes 2 for 2 in the Triple Crown chase?

I think he has a real shot at the Preakness. Shorted distance, half the field from the Derby won&#x27;t be there, etc. Let&#x27;s get your thoughts on this guys?

I don&#x27;t think so. Borel just really OWNS Churchchill and Super Saver was the horse for that course, plus the mud factor. Those Cali horses will run much better next time out too. Way too open crop of 3 year olds too.

It really matters who is waiting to race him. I think Lookin at Lucky can run huge with a clean trip. Horse got hammered at the rail. He definitely has a legitimate chance with his new running style but that was at his favorite track in conditions that he liked.

Agree with Fatroll... Calvin will not like Pimlico near as much as Churchill and the race will not be a ridiculous cavalry charge as the Derby always is. I do think Supersaver has a shot in the Preakness but he will not win the Belmont... The 1978 drought stays in effect.

I do kinda hope he wins the Preakness though so i can bet against him in the Belmont and get a good price!

Actually his ride was pretty shitty. He forced her from the far outside and instead of stalking with her which she is capable of he pushed the throttle the whole way and almost got sucked in by Mine that Bird. But more importantly that was Rachael not Supersaver. As I said, Pimlico is possible if not unlikely, but the Belmont...no way.

Borel gave that colt a ground saving covered up journey around the Twin Spires. He'll be in the mix for round two, just not sure the price will be square.

SS will be a legit contender, but should not be an overwhelming favortie.

Personally I believe this leg will be the tougher of the next two, considering the amount of speed likley to be entered.

If they run the preakness and belmont at churchill then yea he may win  but i Like the real horse from cali coming in (Scarface) and schoolyard dreams is due already beating super saver and e will be 30-1 or higher with ramon knowing him now
