Tampa 1/14/17 Saturday

I am playing all these to $10 Win and $4 ex boxes --  I don't bet favorites and many times not the most logical contenders either  - I play a decent priced runner who I feel can out race their odds and win at a price. The Tampa Card isn’t really deep today so I’m not expecting a monster score but hopefully a few winners and a $50 ex or two

Race 1- #4 Anotader 3-1 ML was dismissed in debut at 90-1 odds and rallied for a ok 3^rd place in a 11 horse field. Stretches out 2^nd start and won’t be bet much as the #3 and #6 will get all the action. #4 Win

Race 2- #2 Threes are Wild 6-1 ML failed as the fav at this level and distance but no one was beating the 12 length winner that day- jockey may have saved a little late. Now price is right  #2 Win and ex box 1-2-4

Race 3- #2 Memories of Winter 9/2 ML  The other logical contenders are going to the front --7 furlong distance will hurt those late- #2 won last out in first start at Tampa against much weaker but ran a nice figure and looks to get the same trip off the pace today. #2 Win ex box 2-4

Race 4- #8 Kisskiss Telltell 9/2 ML drops way down the class ladder off the half year layoff but ran races last winter at Tampa that would take this and has steady works for her return. #8 Win  ex box 2-5-8

Race 5- #6 Sri Newton 7/2 ML  Didn’t show a thing in debut ay MSW 7 furlongs -drops for tag and stretches out --Centeno is hot and stays on. Not much to beat in this one and hope he wakes up. #6 Win

Race 6- #10 Awalkinthemoonlite 10-1 ML   this 8 yr old mare still is picking up checks and fits perfectly at this lower level. #10 Win and ex box 1-7-10 

Race 7- #5 Zoey D 5-1 ML is my fav play today.  Showed speed against better last year in KY and IN and moves to Tampa and should blow these types horses out is she takes to the track. Trainer O’Connell holds all the cards in this one with the #1 looking tough also. #5 Win and ex box 1-5-6

Race 8- #4 Speightful Song 8-1 ML   Horse looks to be the real deal but faces new challenges today stretching out on turf today. Should be in front early and bred for the grass and trip so makes sense. #4 Win and ex and tri box 2-4-8-9

Race 9- #4 Loon River 6-1 ML  this NY bred ships down and faces some very light competition off a 4 month layoff—works have been good and has raced at Tampa before and ran a good figure. #4 Win and ex and tri box 1-4-5-9

Race 10- #9 Unbridled Majesty 12-1 ML stretches out and looks to possibly close late for a piece. Going to be very tough to beat # 5 but that one will be odds on and hopefully another horse challenges that one early and the #9 can close late for it.  #9 Win and ex box 2-5-9
