Tampa opens today & I can't win a damn race there.
Anyway, jock Antonio Gallardo won the riding meet last year & has left South Florida. I remember when he first came to Calder & he couldn't stay on a horse. He got dumped in the paddock, dumped in the post parade & dumped at the gate, He's come a long way.I think he's going to eat up the Tampa jockey colony again this year except for maybe Daniel Centano.
He's winning at 23% & I thought he would hang around for the "real" Gulfstream meet which opens this Saturday. But the move to Tampa makes sense for him.
