Thanks Phil.....we just sold him (he's 7-yers old, but still wins in IL). We're only running in KY and IN for the immediate future. Can't make any $ in Illinois anymore, so we sold off our IL stock.
we've got a couple of IN-bred 2-year olds out of a two-time track record holder on dirt and turf that look like they'll be the real deal. They start running in May or June.
I am really looking forward to the Triple Crown season. Looks wide-open....at least for now. We'll see what's shaking by April 1.

Not sure who would be the good longshot to go with right now, but plenty of contenders. Obviously, Nyquist is the leading contender right now, but the better bet might be if he makes it to the post.
Mo Tom might be one to look at right now along with Shug''s Sail Ahoy and Baffert's Let's Meet in Rio, again, pretty early. who looks to improve after his Sham 2nd. Sail Ahoy -IF he's healthy and then put in position to campaign--mostly because he was OK at 2 years old, Shug and out of Bernardini.
MoTom is interesting with Amoss training.....he had a very nice LeComte and is likely to go in the Risen Star. PLUS, he's out of Uncle Mo, so if he stays healthy, we have to take a look-see.
Things start to heat up very soon.

A few more to chew on......
Dale Roman's Brody's Cause looks to be a grinder. A very nice 2-year old campaign finishing to Nyquest and Swipe in the BC Juve. He should be at the post in the Tampa Derby.
Wayyyyyyyyyy under the radar is a New Jersey-bred, of all thing, Sunny Ridge for Jason Servies. He finished 2nd in the real TC kick-off race, the Delta Jackpot, to Exaggerator, a real contender.
Problem is that very few ever make it to Churchill on the first Saturday in May out of that race.
Team Valor's Kasseopia for Graham Motion via the breeding looks to have potential. Only two races as a 2-year old, it hasn't raced since Oct.4, so I am not sure where it stands, although horseracingnation.com says the by is active. My guess is that this one shows up at least once in February just to see what's what, but will end up on the grass.
Doug O'Neill nauseates me, but he seems to find a way each year and this year it might be Found Money. He has a whopping 8 races under his belt so far, including a 4th in the Sham. I will be very interested to see how the Milkshake Man handles him.

this might be the best 3-year old group Casse's had. Problem for me is that he always gets to the beach, but seems to never get into the water at this level, like Conquest Typhoon last year.

I mentioned wayyyyyyyyyyy under the radar, Sunny Ridge, the NJ-bred in my comments last week about possible contenders....
Sunny Ridge won the Withers yesterday to earn Derby points. BTW.....excellent breeding as he's by Holy Bull and a Songandaprayer mare.
Moyhamen was convincing in the Holy Bull. Big ones coming up next weekend.
