Good afternoon all
One of interest this evening on the AW at Wolverhampton.
Persian Sun 10/1 e/w
Persian Sun is a lightly raced 4yo who won on his fourth time of asking and on his AW debut at Newcastle. He had the one more run for Simon Crisford in hcap company off a mark of 82 before moving to S William's yard. He's fallen 10lb in the hcap since and has the talented Mark Crean up, who rides this course well claiming a further 5lb. He steps markedly up in trip here and showed all the signs this would be in his favour last time out when a staying on fourth at Kempton. Trainer is in good form at present.
