Advice needed

I have NWA stock which i got in June for $7.22 a share. I wasn't even paying attention but wish i did in August when it was topping out at $11.00 or so. But thats now behind me.

I don't really know too much about stocks but NWA is going to be acquired at some point in time. Would it be wise to sell soon? I am asking because what happens to a companys stock when they are acquired by another company? Does NWA in this situation have a substantial drop in its stock price? Thanks

the company that acquires them has to buy out their stock, which means your broker will cut you a check for whatever the deal is. if i had to guess what someone would buy NW for i would guess $8 dollars a share
