I live close to Dallas. The Dallas Morning News has articles on AAM every day and it's all bad. BAD,BAD,BAD! The stock is hanging in there. By the way, it's less than .50 a share. If you don't know the sad story about this airline then study it up yourself.
A month or two ago US AIR (LCC) was making noise about a take over and AAM was acting insulted and this would never happen and they were adamant they would pull themselves up by their bootstraps and be better than ever. Finally they came out and said they were open to some changes? A lot of union shit has happened since then and craziness prevails. The curious thing is that no one is talking merger or take over anymore. I haven't heard a word.
Does anyone else think there is serious talk about a merger/take over going on behind the scenes? The silence is deafening to me. American has got a lot of union issues settled and needs to get the pilots on board. They are still a huge airline with gate space and plenty of planes. BIG company.
I have a little AAM stock and will buy some LCC today. It's only $11.67 this morning. LCC is a strong company whether this works out or not.
Looking for opinions??
