Would be happy to, plus one thing about Currency is it does not take a bundle of money to get started if you are disciplined! Which is not a typical charateristic of a gambler. Me included very often, but leverage in Forex is a great thing and can be a very costly thing. I trade at 100 times, but you can trade up to 400 X. The higher it gets the more risky you become to margin calls and greed. I have been caught in two
Not sure where to start but there are two key levels to consider at all times, support and resistance and quarter points.
In short there are levels of ceilings and floors that can be established by the hour by the day etc. that currencys bounce between, without serious momentum rarely break. ALways need to know what they are, very often they are fundamentaly traded to the 100th of a cent.
Also quarter points really defined as quarter cent points. Say pound is 2.0500 a break above 2.0525 usually leads to a test of 2.0550. same for a short break bellow 2.0475 to 2.0450 as long as there is not a major S/R level at that Quarter pt.
I realised as i type this there is a lot of things i could say about forex. I will come back to the thread tommorow as I am pretty tired right now, but will sum up. There are billions traded daily. the market is open from sunday at 5 pm EST til 4 pm friday! There are opportunities at all time to trade and the leverage is great that allows someone with 500 to 1000 bucks get started.
WSC i like the post you made id be happy to discuss any aspect with anyone interested. I think it is an awesome market. I have made many mnay mistakes which over time would be happy to discuss but think i got a pretty good discipline now for trading. There have been several requests made about currency trading and I bet you could develop a strong following if you taught a bit about it, explained how you trade, who you trade with etc etc..
I have never tried it..but of course I know what it is..I could never do 100 margin..holy crap too tempting to go large and one day the bottom falls out and I lose my house..haha
I think next year the GB reverses..election lame duck year. I wouldnt be long the dollar for an extended period of time.
I know one thing..the FED is killing us with the currency flood..I am embarassed that OPEC wants to value crude using a different currency..we are like Mexico now.
Man are we in for a world of hurt when the ponzi scheme stops.

There have been several requests made about currency trading and I bet you could develop a strong following if you taught a bit about it, explained how you trade, who you trade with etc etc..

Im a very good trader I started off with $85.00 and I made 50 grand like in 1 month.
Tell us more, sounds intersting...I follow certain currencies, that is about it. And I trade very basic options, and have done fine, but am quite conservative.One can actually do anything with $85 ??

I'm trying a strategy, one buy per day. Daily relative strength below 30 I buy, above 70 I sell. Just a nibble per day...always seems to be a pair that is too hot or cold.
