Google has a great LEAD page. Sroll down and then click on each of the managements name, leads to Reuters page on each person. I always looks for past experience and age. Do I want a company that has a load of 65 year olds, no , 45 - 55 and coming from bigger biotechs, or colleges, etc. Just not poor background. Then on that google page I go to bottom right and click on the companies site, What is it taht they have in the pipeline...
Of course looking at total shares on google page, how much institutional ownership, EPS, and that is not alway Too too important. as some companies are startups...
They bought a huge amount of ACOR and I cant figure out why, exactly, not researched too much. One thing that does happen, others follow Baker and as soon as it is posted, the PPS goes up. I always look for a pullback to buy, but miss sometimes too...
Of course I have only been following a year, so it is kind of new to me tooo... One thing I also noticed is Baker Bros, sit on a couple boards, and in seattle genetics case they use it as a cash register to fund their lives. Dont know if I will ever buy that one...
Just wanted to share this stuff, dont know if anyone cares, but it may help...
