in the 1800’s paper money and legal tender were not always only the Federal Reserve currency. Had a collection of Massachusetts and New Mexico mining company notes. And noticed that were being sold on eBay for a lot more than I purchased them for. Back in 2000 I could buy silver at 5x face value for common Morgan dollars a full crown of gold (one ounce was a little less than 300.00 well these paper notes I purchased 26 for 80.00 fast forward to now. Saw one going for 75.00 and decided to sell my through an agent. Let you know if it actually materialize anything... kind a kicked my self for not buying 20 more Morgan dollars instead of these ...

Well 10 more days left on a buy it now auction the agent used two consecutive notes for 100 of the entire collection to test the waters and not just flood the market with all of them.

oh well might just get them back after them and place them back in the safety deposit box.
