This isn&#x27;t just for "gold bugs," but for anyone who has an educated, thoughtful, and informed opinion on this week.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;After the news of the latest bailout, it is apparent that gold will spike up today as the dollar plunges.  &#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;The question is:&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;DOES SCHOLAR BEN RAISE RATES THIS WEEK TO DEFEND THE US DOLLAR?&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Cause if he does, today is maybe a nice opportunity to sell short gold futures today.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;There is no doubt that the US government has become the most powerful hedge fund (from a stock price manipulation standpoint) in the country.  Paulson should be investigated by SEC for lying on Friday.

Sad.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Won&#x27;t be shorting gold then this week, or shorting oil, or buying airlines/other transporters.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;But goddamn right I am shorting SP 500 today.

Not going to be easy to pull off today.......looks like there is going to be short covering of SP 500 all day today.  The way the morning futures are going just gives me a very uneasy feeling about jumping on the short train today.

Just got a bad feeling about shorting SPY, man.  Can&#x27;t shake it.  Will just watch for a while and "try" to be agnostic.

This is options expirations week take that into account before you short the S&amp;P. Every Yahoo in the world is short now ...Look for the shorts to get their ass handed to them this week

If you&#x27;re thinking of shorting Gold you will be committing financial suicide.  Look at how the market reacted to FNM/FRE bailout; financials caved and Gold Skyrocketed.  You are right they should raise rates and collapse the system as they did in the early 80&#x27;s we need a five year washout of financials homebuilders etc.. but that&#x27;s not going to happen.  Do yourself a favor and load up on Silver and Gold.  Also start picking at the junior miners MDW, SA, GFI, CDE, HL, SIL etc.. opportunity of a lifetime of course I&#x27;m all in on these so my opinion is quite biased.
