Can anybody give me any help on how to find investors for businesses. i am trying to buy a restaurant but i am short the cash needed to get it but its a great buy and i dont want the opportunity to slip away. if anyone has any information it would be helpful

well the restaurant is in nh cant really give any detail out loud but if you wana know more you can give me your emails and i could give you pretty much all the information you need to know

only reason i dont wan a give details is because i dont want any 1 that lives in the area to find out and offer the guy more money and jack the price up higher

ok i need 35 k. the restaurant does 6k in sales a week and it just opened 3 months ago but he had not a scent to his name so he started off owing everyone. a friend of mines has a restaurant with a very prominent name and said he would let me use the name for a 2k. i know that if i had the money and that name i could get the restaurant to do at least 10-11k in sales a week by the beging of sept. because i have been in the business long enough and know the area really well is that enough information or do you want more

if you want some investors, you need to prepare materials in a professional looking package that answer all these questions that Wallstreetcappers is asking. People won't just give you money because you ask them to.
other questions:
What's the parking capacity per square foot?
what's the parking capacity compared to competitors?
who's on the staff? any experienced professionals running the show?
when you say "buy the restaurant" does that include the building and the land? or are you leasing the premises from a landlord?
strip center? stand alone?
other shopping/entertainment nearby?
what's the traffic counts on the road you're on?
if you seriously want to do this, get serious about it and prepare some information. then anyone that has $35k will look at it.

i ve been managing retaurants 4 10 years now the 35 wipes the debt slate clean its a pizza business with fried foods like papa johns with a little more of a menu its not a franchise there will be local promotions door hanging as far as promotions go the poulation is everyone in that city. there are two pizza joints in the are 1 is a franchise and the other isnt.the poulation is about 25,000.the restaurant i am getting the name from is from a local store(one that is one city over) and he wants everyone to know the name and the food(the restaurant has already won titles of best pizza in the state by a poll of readers twice) not sure about the insurance but the rent is 1300 and the utilities are about and extra 700 when the former restaurant owner owned it but i expect the utilities to go up because i will be open longer and for more days. the building doesnt have much parking space but i will be doing delivery out of it for the most part so there wont be a need foralot of parking(there is enough parking to compensate the seating for 20 inside the restaurant. it is on a busy street which sees 45,000 cars go by daily. it is on the busiest street in the town where just about everything is located.

What is your average check, or better yet what would you consider the range of your product is it lower priced, mid priced or higher priced?
Who is your food distributor?
How much of sales is walk-in, delivery and dine in?
How big is your dining room?
Two other places, what are their focus, meaning is one a DELCO like Dominos, or Papa's or Pizza Hut and the second a middle tier or is it the second is a high premium brand?
What are the demographics or average income for the population?
How many times have you eaten the food and what is the strength of the product and what is the weakness food wise?
Will you be paying any royalties to the seller or is the 35k it and you are done?
Is the name that important, since it is a one shop place and has been in business only a few months there might not be a great value in keeping the name and you might get more of a bump with a new name and new management takeover if things have been tough operations wise.
Are there full time managers? What is labor percent as a cost of sales? What are food costs percentage wise?

just spent the day trying to figure out about it but atlast the opportunity is gone sombody bought it under me. but if you do know people wall street and they wouldnt mind investing i could keep my eye out. i d like to get to meet you or them

ok if u have to commute to work u drive through more than one town, right. well ur not part of that population but u drive through the town. well in some small town the highways are like streets and people go through the town making the car count higher than the population and meaning more that the population could be a certain amount but if more people actually go through it it makes it seem like it is more and therefore more money will be spent in that town than the population would seem to suggest

I live in a place where the metro area has a population of over a million and traffic counts of more than 50k are very hard to come by, unless you're on the interstate

well no actually the highest traffic count is in keene nh 85,000 cars(only major way of getting to that area to see two colleges and 1 of two ways to get to Vermont and the population there is only and there pop is like 8 thousand)i dont know where you got ur information from but thanks for writing and i dont know if your trying to start an argument with me but i just told you it was on a highway and i explained up above what it meant just read it over and you'll understand. so counting the street,street by street, or whatever it is that that sight goes by doesnt count because this is a street that is a highway and is connected and used by three differnt towns on top of the other cities nearby
