Can researching and buying IPOs be profitable? I am a total beginner when it comes to the stock market and my question is purely speculative.
However, I remember when Google came out I wanted to buy into it badly, but was short on cash. It ended up obviously doing very well. I realize something as big and successful as Google comes around seldom. I believe Under Armor was another big hit.
So I guess my question is...Is there profit to be made in IPOs with the proper research?
