oil n gold....two things that dont trade off technicalzthey can swing 30%. we are in troubled timez GL to u and everyone u know. i see DOW hitting 13800 at least before end of feb. nugt was at 11$ and now 6.20$ wiped out a bunch of &#x27;non&#x27; day traders. GPRO could be bought out any second. it was at 9$ and change now at 13$ this isnt your fathers market.super bowl commercials were 3.5 mil a few years back jumped to 4, then 4.5 then to 5... its amazing the amount of &#x27;funny money&#x27; around. inflated the market to the point of no return.

Hey Wall. Been a while.When was the last time you saw this much volatility in oil and forex?Someone is making a killing day trading oil and the dollar. 4and 5 percent moves everyday.

Well in the Yen pairs there is action, and I am noticing the pound is softening over time..

I am quite mad I didnt go short the AUD back long ago over a buck, that was an easy easy long term trade and I didnt take it.

Yeah I would see if come March and the FED doesnt hike, if they take the USD to below 110 and it is falling, it would probably be a reasonable spot to take a nibble long. Its 114 now and lets see where it goes this month.

banks removing great sums of market fueling panic today.

oil below 27 as feds now asking for a price hike in tax from 10.00 a brrl to 10.50. silver and gold pricing good gains rising nearly 10 % in the month as lows of 1070 and 14,10 now nearing 1200 and 17 respectively.

tommorow not looking good.

Ho hum another end of the day save for the markets...nothing new.

Fear is not elevated at all, barely peeking up given the risk out there.

Until the algos start being bearish and spanking risk I dont think we are near a low.

Markets getting pounded as if a Recession is in the cards.. yet, we haven't had a negative growth GDP since when ?

Fear is a dangerous thing , and can mislead markets and investors. The "macroeconomic" numbers tell us the American economy is nowhere near being brought down by the global malaise.

So what does this mean ? People are being overly emotional and selling as if the U.S. is entering a recession..

False.

Continue to sell and buy back later at higher premiums. It will be found in due time that the depressed oil prices are a boon to U.S. consumers (which is and always has been around 2/3 of the U.S. economy).
