peer to peer lending

anybody got on this from the investor side?  lendingclub . com  avg investor is yielding 10%..interesting.

I have a proposition for anyone out there willing to help me out or just any advice is greatly appreciated from any1 out there about my situation

First, i fuct up royally. chased some bad bets w more and played 20 games like an idiot. i owe a local huuge $ and need a loan. i make abt 60-70k/yr but do not have anywhere near the 20 large i owe. this post already sounds so ridiculous but if anyone would be interested yielding 7%/mo for the next 6 months or we could come to terms w some kind of agreement. basically i'm proposing it kinda like lendingclub but i cant quite tell them i lost huge to a local as why i need the $...

i guess PM me or just everyone can post here about how much of a degenerate i am thats fine too. thanks guys n BOL

so let's make a deal covers brother(s)..  who wants to make a good % in the next 6 months by giving me a loan? i can give anyone info on my credit, job, etc, etc....

again, this is a ridiuculous request i know so even if  you just have advice thats cool too

Sorry to hear that man. Would like to help you, but certainly can't risk getting burned for an amount like that.

How about a payment plan from the local? Loan from friends/family?
Pull equity from property? 401k? Even a credit card advance would cost you less than what you're talking about. Maybe pick up a few extra hours or ask for a month's advance if you've been at the job awhile.

A friend turned me on to prosper.com. I think the concept is awesome!
They do charge some hefty rates for people with less then stellar credit, but that is how you price risk and all,,,,,

I signed up, thinking i'd give it a try from the creditor end, but they made it seem like i'm not allowed to do that in Pennsylvania

sorry for the rant bigbadlove. I don't have the means to loan that kind of scratch, and i like the idea on prosper how you can spread your risk around, 25$ at a time. If your credit is shit, they charge like 36%
