the record one day rise in crude oil futures on the NYMEX monday to 120.92 +15.45 (14.78%) makes me wonder IF the OPECers and other "blue eyed Arab" oil producers like the Russians and Norwegians aren't getting ready to dump the US dollar and go to Euros? the have to be sick and tired of our market problems and losing $$$ on dollar transactions.
I also wonder just WHY in the HELL the CFTC doesn't force the NYMEX to go to "liquidation only", where you can buy or sell ONLY to close out a position, like they did when the Hunt brother tried to corner the silver market in march of 1980? that put a halt ot "Bungle" Hunts bullshit in a hurry. hell, IF the SEC is going to manipulate the stock market with their communist no short selling mandate, WHY wouldn't they go after these "hedge hogs" fucking around with oil? THAT probably does (and HAS done) more damage to the US economy than all the crap with Lehman, Bear, Freddie/Fannie, Merrill and AIG.
