AT & T will not have unlimited data plans anymore. This means everyone who loves getting all those apps and other games n shit will have to pay extra or will be drastically limited in their choices.
I think this will not go over well with the general population even though AT & T claims they are doing it to make more economical phone plans so mobile phones will be more available to the masses. No chance though. Thoughts?

I don't buy it a bit. They know all the Appleheads will still use the shit out of them and get some monster bills. Sprint has thier all you can eat plans at $70 I believe and they don't appear to be changing that.

I read it in the Journal a couple of weeks ago that AT&T was considering doing away with the "all you can eat buffet" for new customers... as opposed to an "a la carte" style where you pay for each service.
It made the claim that a small minority of the people on their network are crowding it, slowing it down for everyone. In other words, they are constantly downloading videos, movies, pictures, etc.
Sounds like a bandwidth problem to me...

To answer your question about shorting, AT&T... doesn't look attractive to me. Sure, its best growth days are long gone.. but it still yields a respectable 6.5%. There will always be buyers at that rate.
