Steve Jobs steps down as Apple CEO

Steve Jobs resigned as CEO of Apple late Wednesday, saying he could not handle the day-to-day duties of the job. Apple is retaining jobs as Chairman of the Board. The stock was down $20/share an hour after the news broke.

I know you guys like to give me a hard time about working in the cancer center and how it is a "story" however I can tell you that pancreatic cancer is absolutely the most fatal of all cancers, and it is essentially a ticket to the cemetery.  The majority make it between 4-6 months from their initial diagnosis, and about 25% make it more than a year. 

Sounds like it is very bad for Steve Jobs.

Jobs was first diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2003. One report tonight said that he has been housebound.

To quote his favorite band, The Beatles, "The two of us have memories longer than the road that stretches out ahead."

Steve Jobs truly is a visionary who changed the world more than once. I wish him the best.   He is leaving quite a living legacy.

i find it hard to believe he has anything to do with apple right now. i saw a recent picture of him (i wont post it because it looks really bad, but if you look on the web youll find it). he looked a lot like my dad did 2 weeks before he passed. 

truly is an amazing guy, hope the rest of his time here is spent with loved ones and enjoys the time he can
