It looks like the back end of the rotation ...commoditions cyclicals etc are getting hammered and taking out lows while the front end of the rotation ..Financials and Housing are holding off their lows and appeared to have bottomed. Money managers now believe that the economy is now in freefall and want to be in the front end of the cycle. The big play is that the economy is going to hell now
My guess is that this event is the same thing that happended in 911. It was to point that massive liquidity was injected into the system. This lead to a rally from 8000 to 10600 and lasted until Feb 2002. The economy did not bottom for another year but hey it was a nice trade. I expect the same here.
The date today is 9/26/08 the market is at 11000. I can't say we won't drop another 1000 points now and they continue to give you this BS drama in congress. .but I strongly feel it is a good time to take at least a 1/3 position long now I know I will be happy in 3 months regardless. This deal IS already done they want to buy stock and are doing so now. If they don't do the deal by monday and the Asian market tank I buy again
