It's been getting killed this week, but I'm wondering if this is a decent opportunity to buy it? They're having a conference call 8/7 to discuss 1 quarter earnings.
I'm wondering if any good news like "we only lost 3 mil last qtr" lol.... or better yet the announcement of new contract, and the stock will have a nice jump.
Thoughts?

I have been loosely monitoring this stock for a couple of years since an Allen Harris reccomendation. They just filed an 8k for more financing which is probably the reason for the quick drop. The terms seem favorable to me.
Technically I am going to see if it pulls back to 3.50 to the bottom of the current wedge pattern. Looks like support below that is at 3.25. I like the technology and it seems that the company is confident concerning some cash flow in order to meet terms surrounding 8k. This stock was also hyped on Friday as Tradingmarkets hilighted it.
Take a look at SCA on Monday. I got skeered and was shook out during a dip on Friday but made a quick double. I still think there is some upside with the high volume and some hefty speculative predictions by some "smart money". No way to really read the fundamentals on this one but they are looking at some positive news and a possible rating upgrade in the near future. Be close to the computer if you play it.
good luck

Wow this stock had a rough week! Closed at $3.09 I listened to the conference call on Thursday, and it was lack luster to say the least. Nothing in the way any new contracts, and from the sounds of things the "big score" Tanfield/Smith Electric they had been touting, isn't placing any new orders.
I still like the technology, and some of these stocks in this space will take off when the world ramps up EV production (ie Chevy Volt), it's just a matter of finding the right ones. Valence scares me a bit because they've had 20 yrs to get their act together and just don't seem to be doing it. If it wasn't for loans from Carl Berg they'd de done.
