Do we have to get a new ID and password for this one day Thanksgiving contest. I tried to use my Covers ID and it says to enter an  e mail address as your ID. My Covers ID is not an e mail address.

 It's asking for an email address to login for the Thanksgiving Contest. Do we use our Covers ID and just add an email address to it, or just make a new ID and Password for this Contest ?

You're correct your Covers login won't work for this platform. You can either create a new account on this platform or just submit your card along with your email to enter as well, without having to create an account. The choice is up to you!
