What I found curous was at the Golden Gate Hotel in downtown Vegas. They don't have a sportsbook but a little kiosk where you deposit money, kind of like the way you put dollar bills in a slot machine. The kiosk has a screen with the lines on them, it's like betting on your computer at home.
Pinnacle's line moves don't mean a thing since they bent over for the US government back in 2007. Pinnacle is yesterday's news.
There's very little difference in the lines you'll find at Las Vegas sportsbooks. So many of the sportsbooks are tied together and the sportsbooks keep two screens on at all times. The first screen has current lines at Las Vegas sportsbooks and the second screen has offshore prices. As soon as they see a move or two, they change the line whether they've taken a bet or not.
