That is a good way off strip.You&#x27;ll need a car or pay a good taxi fare if you want to go to strip.I really like Green valley Ranch.Is there a reason you&#x27;re looking to stay off strip?Could do Rio which is "off Strip"or head south to southpoint or the M

STAYING AT THE &#x27;M&#x27; OVER SUPER BOWL WEEK-END.MOSTLY LOCALS,VERY NICE PLACE TO STAY IF YOUR LOOKING TO BE OFF THE STRIP,NICE SPORTS BOOK.ANOTHER GOOD PLACE TO STAY OFF STRIP IS THE RED ROCK,WHICH IS A SISTER CASINO OF GREEN VALLEY RANCH,THAT IS WORTH A LOOK ALSO.

Red Rock has everything you need..tried GVR last trip for a day and it was just so-so..Just another casino off the interstate..They grinded me away at the sportsbook VP bar for a few bucks and the bartenders were not that great in keeping you up with a fresh beer..

South Point is on the strip and nice lower budget than RR.Went there once for a convention and would go back if I had to..

But Rio is home base for me and degen horseracing at the Gold Coast is fine with me..

M is OUTSTANDING. Red Rock is good.Green Valley is OK.

The GVR has a free shuttle bus that takes you to and from Mandalay Bay, i rode it out there last summer to GVR and had a great time, its a really nice resort. What i liked is they have a huge bingo room lol, and a very very nice sports book

I cant speak for the rooms but the place looked pretty nice, i enjoyed myself

I usually eat at deli when I first get there and keep my cupand then just keep refilling all day.

Last I was in Black Hawk/CC  Co they had that and coffee..Liked it..Compare that to what I have to spend in $ or comps in a week at a Vegas  hotel Starbucks..The amount of coffee I drink in the AM amounts to a buy-in session at a table.And that shitty coffee tastes just the same..

My buddies were in Vegas for a week 2 months and decided to go off strip and try some places out. We&#x27;ve been going out to Vegas for 15 years and always stay on strip. They went to the M and Green Valley. They gambled a lot at the Green Valley and they are getting comped 6 rooms at $50/night. That is why we are going there for March Madness. I have looked online and I really like the M but its not my call this time.

Green Valley is awesome. Has great seating area in the book. It is not far from the strip at all. Yes you may have to take a cab for a mile or so. Bottom line its for your upper class type of person. Its a little like the Winn.

I`ve stayed at Green Valley and it is vey nice place with bad location.Rent a car if you stay there. Real nice sportsbook
