Horrible idea. The only disadvantage the don't better has is on the come out roll. After the come out the odds swing in the don't bettors favor, unless you take odds..then if you take odds on the don't side you actually don't do as well. Then you are compounding that by making place bets.
Your best strategy is either play the don't...through the don't come. Or if you are going to make place bets come down after 2-3 hits so you don't leave yourself exposed.

Don't pass, only lay the 6&8. You lay 6/5 and win 1 lose 1 is neglible. When you lay the 4 and 10 and lose laying2-1 you must win 3 times to get ahead. If u must.when you get the even number take a hedge on a hard 10 then only 6,4 4,6 beats you
