Im wondering if i want to play sit and go tourneys what would be the best casino to play at for action. I don't want high limit tables maybe 25-60 bucks will have 8000 roll. Also is it easier to make it betting sports or playing poker? I think i would rather bet sports than grind all day but want others opinions. Thanks

The Venation is the best place for sit and goes, but you won't find a buy-in for less then $100 there.
Making money off of poker depends on your skill. Keep this in mind, the average skill level of the players has went up in Vegas over the past couple years. Poker is losing some of its popularity, so there are less fish and more regulars filling the rooms.

go to all vegas poker and look at tourny schedule and special events. I play about half cash and half tourneys personally, and my advice would be to not limit yourself to cheap <$60 tourneys because very few have decent structure or admin fees. They are full of fish, but the structure is super fast and you get raked like %30-%40 in some which is insane.

The MGM has Daily $80 Buy ins (no Rebuys) 200 players max. $20 administration (seems a little high) Planet Hollywood has Dailys as well ($70 buy in) at 10:00, 1:00,
4:00 & 7:00, with the same rake. March 27th - March 31st is called
"Poker on the Mezz & buy-ins range from $65 -$100. (Guaranteed
payouts of $1,000.00, $2,000.00 & $3,000.00) The Mirage has $50 buy ins at 2:00 & 10:00 with a $10 admin & 11:00 & 7:00 dailys that are $60 buy ins with $10 admin. Caesars has 2 dailys for $70 at 9:00 & 4:00 with $20 admin
(heavy) & 2 dailys for $110 at noon & 7:00 with $30 admin (too
heavy).
They also run "Hoops & Holdem" from the 20th - 8th but, they're all $100+$30 buyins, some are $200 & $300.

Also Treasure Island has weekly freerolls for 10 hours played weekly. They have $2-$6 flex games but they don't run every day. Mostly $1-$2 NL They have a daily SitnGo as well for less than $100.

Okay, to clarify because the OP wasn't clear in his question. By Sit and Gos I was talking about single table sit and gos. For regular daily tournaments, the others in this thread gave good information.

Right, I don't know how you find scheduled sngs, don't think they are common enough where it's feasible to just play those. I played the Wynn 140 recently (daily tourney) and it ended up being 3 tables- 27 or something players. Great structure, best admin fees, half retards, half solid players, and very nice comfy room. I'd think a good SNG player with 8k roll could easily profit in these.
