I'll be heading over to Vegas to bet college football games this year since I have to kill a few months in between jobs, and have a few questions.
I've bet college football the last 2 years from home here in Australia and have done very well, and im confident that being in Vegas with access to more information and more lines will only be beneficial.
Anyway, guess I just wanted to get a sense of what the sportsbooks are like on college football gameday ??
How many games are usually shown, and does it vary from casino to casino. Also is it generally only your big conference teams that get gametime, or do some of the smaller conferences get gametime ? (I'm a Badger fan, and figure I should be able to catch a few of their games, but last year I really concentrated on C-USA and ACC games) I'm kinda worried that American TV will be all about SEC and Pac 10.
Also, what is television coverage of games like on normal TV in Vegas. I'll be staying at an apartment with basic cable I think .. am I likely to get many games on, or will I have to watch all games from a sportsbook ??
Sorry for all the questions, can't wait to get back to Vegas for the start of the season (and the Badgers season opener v UNLV)
Will probably play cards during the week, and focus on the games on Saturday.
Sunday will be designated hangover day
