Do they exist?

25-100 dollar a hand player here depending on how I'm doing. Been playing probably 10 years now and never heard of one...

Just curious since I don't get to Vegas or AC often if they had tourneys.

I know BJ tourneys exist in Atlantic City

you can also play them on diamnds sportsbook if u like the online tournies i played a few and they are alright

Online BJ is the worst thing for me. I'll drop 50 or a 100 in a matter of minutes..

Countless times the dealer pulls a 6,5,4,3,A,2

If you're talking about in a real casino and not on-line, then YES they do exist.  Actually played in one in Tunica last year, at the Gold Strike (it was a $50,000 purse) and they were having one about a month or two later at, what was then know as, the Grand.  I think it was a $100,000 purse in it....

Woody, is that something they hold often?

I guess the best thing is to look at each casino site and see what's up...

when i lived in Vegas i always got invited to free ones. they were fun

not sure if they run them regularly though

I don't know much but I got the monthly book from a few casinos and I always see advertisements from BJ tourneys

They have them EVERY day here in Vegas.

G & G :  I just know of those two within the last year in tunica...I received one of those flyers in the mail to come play, so I did.  That was first I ever heard of them myself.  I've heard of a couple in Biloxi also (was down there for WPT in January, and heard couple guys talking about) but not sure when of the dates...sorry

I get invites from the palms all the time for BJ and Poker tourneys.   ONe was a BJ tourney  and no buy in.  100k in prizes.  NOt bad but I didn't go.

Check out las vegas advisor web site and click on gambling and you'll see a drop down on tournaments and they list every kind of tourney that each casino hosts including blackjack

     Golfandgamble... How do you do with Blackjack?  What advice would you have for a player that is just starting out?  I've been studying the game quite a bit and do pretty well online with "fun money" at rushmorecasino.com.  Thanks in advance.
