Locking in for the semi annual journey west - 
As always - will be hangin out at the nugget - might step it up to the rush tower (usually prefer gold tower)
Usual stops -Vic @ Anthony's , yeah , the lamb chops 
Lots of baseball by day , big college football weekend and of course mayweather / maidana 2 , plan on taking in the weigh in Friday day , will try and get a comp thru the nugget for fight but other than some video poker and occasional run at roulette I'm a sports book guy , not considered real players by Vegas hotel moguls - and since college football is always where  I do my heavy lifting the round by round fight update may prove more suitable - 
Will have to stay focused as southwest air (nonstop) is my carrier of choice - cashing in travel miles this time thru thank you cards and southwest is not an option - it's Delta , thru Charlotte for me - let the countdown begin for boarding on the mayweather money train ,,eh Plane

awesome steaks as well - last time out tried the pan seared chicken , outstanding , may give  ( new steak house at the D ) a try as well  - want to try oscars also

Have a great trip.....been through CLT a few times on layovers,not a bad airport at all compared to StLouis,Chicago Midway..The rocking chairs and aviation theme in the concourse is pretty cool to check out while killing time..

Going myself in 28 short days for Fantasy Draft (FFPC) and NFL opening weekend 12th year in a row..only hurdle is a 2 hour layover in STL on SW..nothing to do but hang at the bar and waste $50 on overpriced beers..

Just missed you. Coming out Sept. 19-22 for invite Poker Tournament at Flamingo. Of course the main reason is college and NFL football.

I just got back from Vegas. I stayed at the Nugget, Four Queens and the D while dtown. Then I headed to the strip for a week. I like the Nuggett Sports book. Smokey as heck, but comfortable. I met a bald head guy from the bronx that is their everyday. Knows everybody and took care of me. Cool dude. Im from Fayetteville orginally, but been in DC for ever. I still visit moms often. What's your local in NC?

Have fun my friend, It appears my Vegas days are over, my father went in the hospital back in February for what was supposed to be a simple 40 minute procedure, he ended up in coma, almost died, now he is unable to walk, among other catastrophic health issues, he has spent more time this year in the hospital and rehab facilities than he has at home, My wife and I are all he has and vacations, fun trips are now out of the question.

All is well man! Haha I'm crunching some NFL numbers for sure. Gonna be an interesting year. I am currently getting ready for 2 fantasy football drafts toward the end of the month…I'm a huge fantasy football junkie as well.

That break from baseball has been awesome and my golf game has gotten a hell of a lot better  but still much work to be done. 

Hopefully all is well down in the Raleigh area man and I know you are getting stoked about this College Gridiron that's kicking off in just a couple weeks.

Just back from Vegas - had a pretty good run at it - may or may not update on trip but did want to pass along this update to everyone who has busted my chops for my love of the lamb chops -oops-
Have decided the pan roasted range chicken is my new fav at V&As , 
Simply outstanding , cooked to perfection with a sort of whipped / mashed potato and a few asparagus spears - will be back in may for more - if not sooner - may well be the best chicken dish on the planet

yes the D seems nice enough - two doors down from the nugget - most rooms run parallel to Fremont street - real noisy if sleep is important - for many that doesn't matter - enjoy - best breakfast value downtown - magnolias garden , 4 queens - enjoy
