Good point Brent!!! I know that with Vegas, if they notice anything wierd, Like the Arizona St basketball scandal, they can put a stop to it!!!! It is the dark secret of The NFL!! They don't want to talk betting, but they know it helps the ratings!!!!!

True, but they have no idea what would happen to their revenues if it were illegal everywhere. They're clueless. Of course, illegal bookies would take over, but it would be nothing compared to what it is today.
As far as the gaming license, I'm no expert, but I do know you have to have a 'Class 3" license. I know this, because I used to live in Wyoming. The Wind River Reservation in Riverton, WY applied for a gaming license, a Class 3. The governor at the time signed it, not knowing what it really was. So, techincally, the Wind River Indian Reservation could take sports bets.
