Yeah maybe "within reason" wasn't the right choice of words. To answer the OP's question, I meant that if you just want to buy a few points here or there, you will have absolutely no problems anywhere. But, if you're looking to M/L a 35 point favorite, or something like that, some (not all) casinos won't let you do something like that. And sometimes (like at the Golden Gate on Fremont) their "sportsbook" is just a walk up computer terminal kiosk - and everything is not offered on there. I guess it depends on where you go...

Things must have really changed lol. Ten years ago NO sportsbook that I asked would ever let you buy on or off of 3 or 7. I don't ever buy points so I am not questioning you guys, but I find this curious that they all just let you buy a half or a point or multiple points.....although it does make sense. If someone wants to buy points, why not let them?
