Well coming to Vegas should mean I need help without saying it but here's the deal.
Coming around March 1st, 2012 and staying until around April 8th.
1. Who can point me in the direction of a monthly rental that is reasonable. Would like Wi-Fi, Cable, kitchen if at all possible, pool is a must, My teenage boys will be with me for 8 of the days.
2. I play blackjack about 2-3 hours a day and play a minimum usually a $100 a hand and up. I will play $500-$1500 on sporting events. I will play holdem 3-4 hours a day as well. Is there a certain group of casinos or such that offer comps for a player like me. Mostly looking for nice restaurant and show comps.
Any thoughts appreciated. I have enough time to make plans well in advance.

At your average in blackjack, you can get comped room or a casino rate. Your poker play can prob get you a poker players rate also i believe. I would call a host at an average hotel/casino and see what they can do for you. Your play would prob go further at properties like imperial palace, flamingo, harrahs etc. Do you have a players card anywhere with a history of your play? The host could always check your play at other properties. But you will be obligated to show action. If you dont wanna show action like that, then a monthly rental is prob ideal for you.

Also, i believe even a $50 average bet would get you a room. Remember, its not only the average bet, the casinos want TIME. A 50 better will get more comps averaging 4-6 hrs a day than a 100 better averaging 2-3 hrs. So think about lowering your average bet and showing more time at the tables.

Wow, that place is gorgeous. I was hoping for lodging for a month + around $2K but I think the difference for a room there is worth it. Probably need at least the Vdara suite at $5K for the month.

Based upon your table play, you could use a host...perhaps help you with the costs at Vdara.....these were condos, can be rented from the owners.....MGM might help you with that.....

No need to spend that much money on accomodations unless you really need to have 5* or you want to be right on the strip. You can always rent a suite at the Signature (private condos at the back of the MGM complex) or Palms Place (West of the strip) that will give you all you need for much less. Typically depending on how many bedrooms you want, you can get a kitchen, living room, dining room etc. for approx. $1,500 to $2K per month. I have stayed at both for extended periods and they are great.
