comps in the big city

My free room comps are drying up, have been comped at caesars and palazzo.

Now they will not give me weekends.

Anyone have a nice casino (4 star) that comps free rooms pretty easy?

Thanks for helping. I obviously play big enough to get comps at this hotels, now just not getting the weekends which sux.

hard to believe with all those new rooms but my experience tells me it is true,

looked into airfare today from Co. still reasonable...

I have 4 nights free that Im using in September, I nailed the rio Big on the blackjack tables two years ago, Went there last season as usual week 2 college week 1 pro, I didnt play a single hand of blackjack or any table games for that matter, I told the wife, this was it, they will never comp us again, so I checked my total rewards card at there site and low and behold they are comping me another 4 nights lol, They will never get that money back, I was up over 6 grand on the football games and I decided to go asian, that means double up a few times on the table.

They will never get it back because I dont think I have the intestinal fortitude to ever do that again, that And Im a strong believer in pick your game of choice and become good at it, Im a sports handicapper, thats what I am thats what I do.

thanks, I have been gambling and comped for 25 years now. I get the system. I am a little upset, the comps seem to be getting a little tougher. For me, it is, pay for the room and gamble less or gamble a little more and get the room for free.

i am no light gambler for sure, i usually sit in high limit rooms at $100 min blackjack or baccarat.  the biggest hand ive had ever and actually won is $15,000 on a hand of blackjack.  started with $5000 on the hand and then split and then doubled.  i actually walked out of the room because i couldnt watch but everyone screamed when the dealer busted.  but my point is, is that you should never gamble more just for the comps.  gamble just for your entertainment and pleasure.  there are many times where i say in my head to myself that i wish i dont have to show action because i lost 5-10 thousand in a weekend for a free room, food, etc. and that i would rather pay for all that stuff and not lose like that.  i have cut my gambling down tremendously though and like you, my rooms/offers have gotten cut somewhat but i still do get a ton of offers from venetian/palazzo and caesars.  i do not get anything from mgm properties unless i call and talk to a host.

Booked it today will be there 8-20, 21 and 22.

I do not know if it is the economy or the sad fact I will be there when it is 115 outside. Good thing it is a dry heat!

WTF though, for a free room, free credits  and a free show (which I have seen and sucks balls)  I gotta go.

Could anyone tell me if you get points or whatever, to get comp if you really just do the sportsbook. And if you have got to have a certain wager limit. I know if you are a high roller you will get comps from sportsbooks, but what about us who go to vegas and only stay for a few days. Thankyou for help.

May I suggest a Harrahs visa card. I put everything on my Harrahs visa card. Gas, groceries all purchases. The card gives you points as if you are playing the tables or machines. I am not a high roller, but I get free rooms at all Harrahs casinos all year long. I am comped 4 days for Superbowl weekend thanks to my  Harrahs visa.

Rooms are so cheap now in Vegas why even worry about getting comped.  Just pay and you won't have to worry about someone watching over your shoulder and watching how much you wager,  I always find it interesting when someone will lose $1,000 just to get a $75 a night room comped.  Just pay and you will have a much better time.

We went in August and had a great time. Had the best run of my life sports betting going a perfect 8 fer 8. One of these was a 49er miracle that eludes me now but when we sat down to dinner, I was dead only to win on some amazing miracle play (I think it was a safety).

They gave us seats to Blue Man Group not Phantom and my wife and I did not care for it too much. Ate at Envy steakhouse which was pretty solid. And gave them a thousand playing blackjack on the last day. I had such a good run sports betting I felt that I should give them good table play. Alas, my BJ was as bad as sports betting was good as I was losing consistently at the $50 table at the Palazzo. A Dime was gone in about 40 minutes.

Have not received another invite back. Harrahs is sending me rooms but few weekends. Paid for super bowl at the Wynn for the Parlor suite.
