Fake ID's in vegas

I'm going to vegas this saturday, I lost my wallet last thursday, went to the dmv the next day to get a new license but they don't give you your license on the spot anymore, they mail them to you. It takes 15-20 days to get it now. Needless to say I've been on the phone non-stop with the dmv trying to work out a way to get it sooner but they're not having it. I'm only 21 so my options are cancel the trip (and pay like a $200 fee), just go and hang out (which would be torture), maybe hope to not get carded (not likely), or try my luck with some fake ID's. How serious are they about fake ID's its gotta be a pretty big deal if you get busted right? And it would suck to get busted for "faking" my real age. Does anybody know of any crazy ways to prove your age or any casinos that are real lax with IDing or have any other thoughts?

And no I don't have a passport or military ID, although I do have an appointment at 8 am at the passport agency in DC to get an emergency passport if I decide to get real bold...that's like a 7 hour drive for me and would be rather expensive so I don't know about that...

this country's so stupid...

What country or state do you live in where you have to wait 15-20 days to receive your drivers licenses from the DMV?

Do you have a birth certificate? A photo ID would be needed to go along with it, but I would think you have one laying around.

If a fake ID is a must, where do you plan on using it at? Cocktail waitresses will just look it over, so no big deal there, but a bouncer at a Club would probably get more detailed with it, and there is always the chance you get stopped by cops.

You should get some sort of papers stating you applied for a new license.

Most peoples first posts look fishy..but no nothing fishy I read these forums every now and then and finally had a reason to post something...I live in nc, they gave me a temporary license but theres no picture so its not meant to be used for identification. Best I can think of is birth certificate and my student id, but I called some casinos' security and they said that that's not good enough. But maybe that's just their policy and i could actually get away with it when I'm there.

I've used fake id's for the last 3 years and have never had any problems. But ironically now that I am 21 I'd be more sketched out then ever (because of the irony). I just don't know what Vegas' attitude is like towards them.

I went to atlantic city a few months ago and carded once the whole time I was there, which I found very surprising.

Anybody know what I'd have to do to get a Nevada drivers license?

go and get your passport!!!  dont know how much you fly, but you need a picture id to fly douche.  no picture id no vegas!!!!!

no you can just show them 2 official paper documents like a bill or check or tax form or something then they pat you down and search your bag

i'm just tryin to drink and gamble in the casinos by the way. Not really planning on going to the clubs or whatnot

It like that in Nevada now..I did it about 4 months ago.

I talked to tsa today you don't need one. It goes along with some of the changes some states like mine are making

go back to the dmv and get an ID card. People who don't drive get them so they have a form of identification.

dont know about where you live but here in hawaii we have state issued IDs

Are you a baby face?  If your with young kids I guess your in trouble most places theyll card a big group but if your going with your old man or gonna be alone in the casinos and dont look that young you should be OK.  Especially if its not one of the big name casinos.

 

Is the fake a fake opr someone other than you?  If its a real ID but someone else your prob good just hope you dont hit the jackpot.

 

LOL I had a couple trips when I was a youngun that I used fakies to play cards and bet.  Had a decent mass ID one trip to tahoe that worked when I ws a freshman in college and the year after I had someone else that kinda looked like me when I was in vegas and that was solid too. 

 

Haha when I was 16 I had got arrested right before a ski trip to tahoe (just weed nothing serious) and they took my awful fake new jersey which I was planning on using out there.  Good thing too Id have been black booked maybe at my favorite place on the planet, had the old man put my bets on instead.  Id be fucking pissed if I had got in trouble at harveys for doing that when I was 16!!!!!!!!!!!!  Love that place Ill have 6 weeks next year use 2 years of vaca to fuck around tahoe and reno for a bit and do my thing, couldnt do it this year as renting a car when your not 25 sucks balls and would cost more than the flight, room, and food combined.

Fake ID?  Wrong way to go especially in vegas dude.  They bust people for that more than anywhere.  Best bet IMO is to cancel.  Why go to the gambling capital of the world and not gamble?  Thats beyond torture!

That happened to me a few years ago (was in TJ week before Vegas, lost ID, and couldn't get one for 2 weeks), but I was 24 so didn't look as young.  I got sweated gambling once or twice and just had to leave the table, but to be honest I've been to Vegas and didn't get carded the whole weekend while gambling or ordering drinks from the waitresses (being only 21 and if you look young will get carded a few times, but last few times I've gone haven't got carded even once).  

All I had when I went was the papers the DMV gave me, my school ID, and a credit card with my picture on it.  Pretty much worked every where I went: gambling, buying drinks, pool, VIP at strip clubs and clubs (main thing when going to club or strip club is get VIP and just let them know before hand "hey I lost my ID but here is DMV papers and two picture ID to show I'm really this person" all worked for me.

GL hope it works!!!  Try and get a ID card, but I think that takes time to be sent to you too; at least over here in CA it did when I tried.
