Which course would you recommend out of these 6? Any experience with any of them would be greatly appericated. I will be staying on the strip and was wondering distance and quality wise which would be the best course to play while out in Vegas. Thanks

I could probably win this in one hand a blackjack. Me and my brother have a day to ourselves before everyone get's out there, so we figured we would golf. we are now flying in on wednesday instead of thursday and most guys arent' coming to late thursday and friday night.

I'm a local and have played them all... my take:
Desert Pines: cool driving range (double decker) but it's 18 holes packed in a space suitable for 12... and it's next t the freeway
Las Vegas National: a great deal during the summer and some nice old Vegas charm... big, old trees... but hit and miss on the quality of the actual course
Revere Lexington: very cool, newer course... great views and very intriguing holes... but very tough and long and some blind shots... will be even tougher with wind howling and it will be
Revere Concord: newer Revere course but not nearly as good... more bland...very up and down... 18th hole is very cool par 5
Silverstone: only played once and don't remember much other than it being short and rather, well, unmemorable lol
Tuscany: very far from the Strip and is near Lake Las Vegas... 45 minutes driving time... cool track, a bit short, but it will be windy
If you are a 10 handicap or below and want some killer views of the city I would recommend Revere Lexington but it's pricey
If you want to stay near the strip and play a course with old school charm (hosted PGA tour event - Las Vegas Invitational at one time) and less wind then play National but it's not what it once was
hope this helps

Anyone ever play at Cascata? I played one time. Excellent course. I don't know if it is public though. I went one time when I was comped by Cesaers. Fuckn awesome course

you can be out to Revere in about 20-25 minutes... not bad at all... it's on the south part of town
the best course in town (IMO) is Las Vegas Country Club but it's private (sorry)
if you really want to pay, then play Wynn gold course (proabably around $400?) as it's nice and won't be around long (they will be utilizing the space for new real estate developments soon)... I haven't played it but it's on the site of the old Desert Inn gold course which was THE best course in town before it got "replaced" by the Wynn
Bear's Best I think is around $200-$250 if you want to spend in that range on the west part of town and it is awesome but is tough... check the website on this track
I don't think you'll be disappointed with either Revere Lexington or Bear's Best if you decide to play those... or Wynn is you decide to spend the extra money... is looking to save $ then play National

It better be good for $300-$500 per round. I have only played it twice and both were charity scrambles so I didn't really get to enjoy playing my own round their yet.

For those in the casino industry out here.....which courses are still giving a nice discount with a casino ID? I used to play that executive course on Horizon Ridge called Desert Willow for 11 bucks. Rhodes Ranch also had a nice deal.$30 with ID after 1pm......anyone?
