Freemont Street

Question

Going to be in town for a business convention the week after Super Bowl. Want to hit Freemont one night, but going to be mid week. Does anyone know if they have stuff going on all the time, or are the street bands only around on weekends? Best night of the week to go besides Friday and Saturday? Last time I was downtown was about 6 years ago, so any new hot spot suggestions are welcomed.

You are going to be shocked at how much new stuff is on Fremont. Ziplining, Container Park, "Slotzilla", tons of restaurants, bars, breweries, nightclubs, etc. Doesn&#x27;t matter what day/night you&#x27;re there, always something going on at the stages. Usually cover bands, but on the weekend you might see some one-hit wonder from the 80&#x27;s. Personally, I prefer Fremont to the strip, just seems cleaner for some reason. Maybe because they don&#x27;t allow people to hand out those "escort" cards and magazines like they do on the strip. Good Luck

Listen up Bro. Start at the Gold Spike. They transformed the whole casino to a fun bar. Check out the patio too. Head directly over to Commmonwealth. Beautiful bar from the speakeasy era. Head upstairs to check out some tail.

If you want dinner eat at Le Thai next to Commonwealth. It is very reasonably priced. There is also a pizza by the slice joint across the street. If you want to chill at a casino check out The D. Decent drink prices and some cuties dancing in the pit area. Enjoy! BOL

Wednesday nights they have live music downstairs and a DJ upstairs at Commonwealth.

Fremont St. houses one of LV best Steakhouses, located in the confines of the Four Queens for the past 42 years; you'll find Hugo's Cellar, serving Black Angus Aged Beef & Veal. I personally have not had a better steak anywhere in LV (although Gallagher's located in New York,NewYork comes very close).if your hangin' on Fremont, hungary, and have a desire for one very special dinner, this place needs to be 'reckoned with', enjoy your experience.

Don&#x27;t know if you can just walk in, particularly during heavy tourist/convention season.  I&#x27;ve always made reservations....

After Hugo&#x27;s, walk about 20 feet to your left and get a Hardway IPA and a nice fat stogie at Chicago Brewing Co. If you play the video poker at the bar, those awesome beers are FREE!!!!!!

I just got back from there yesterday, stayed on Fremont for 5 nights. Last time I was on Fremont street had to be about 15 years ago, I loved it then and I love it even more now. It has really changed and it's better than ever.

Fitzgeralds is now the D and if you want to hang out and watch some poon dance then that's the spot. They kept the old quarter horse racing game upstairs for good cheap thrills.

I did the zipline, Oxtail soup at the California, The Mob museum, poker at Binions and Golden Nugget, 5x odds craps with $5 minimum, hooked up with a hottie (not a person), $11.99 steak and lobster at Tony Romas, good quality beer everywhere.

I slept 2 hours a day, wake up, clean up, get some coffee and play some craps at Fremont, bet some sports then head to the poker room. Nothing like it.

I stayed at the Four Queens, it reminded me of the old west. Live in a hotel go to the saloon, play poker etc. I will never go to the strip again.
