Not sure about an app but I was told to request a card to track my action. Last year I stayed & played at the Flamingo over superbowl weekend. My friend took me to a blackjack table and after handing over my id the pitboss generated one for me. Then, she suggested to present the card whenever I gambled. Here's the email with more detail:

I went to vegas on a whim once with nothing more than a backpack, some cash, and plans to crash on the couch of a friends' suite. It was the first time i played BlackJack in a long time. I was so stupid hot that weekend, i started at 10 minimum tables but soon i was doubling unto 2k each on two hands and stacking chips. All said and done, i took my biggest haul from the casino at just under 17k for the weekend. I don't even drink or party, but i entertained my friends who graciously opened up their room to me. i paid the bottle service, which really shocked me at how expensive and rip off the experience was. 4500 for 2 bottles and a champagne.
One of my friends believe slot machines pay out more just after shows end, and he swears by the Wheel of fortune slot machine, he said find the $5 a pull ones. i did that and hit a mini prize of 2500 then 1200.
it was an incredible weekend. the pitboss took my id, Comp manager came introduce himself and said if i needed anything, just let him know. i tapped him and we both leaned in, i told him I'm a bit embarrassed but i was planning to couch it the rest of the weekend, and it was be such a treat to have a room .... guess what ... got a free room for the weekend. Definitely get a comp card at every casino you plan to play at. Always throw your card down with your money when buying in at any table or placing a bet at the sportsbook. Put the card in every machine you play on. If you want to get points fast play video poker (jacks or better) with perfect strategy.
Last time I was there a cab driver told me if you play a penny slot for two hours a day just playing a penny a spin you'll build points fast and get your room comped. I have't tried it but it makes sense because any slot under $1 is tracked by time you play and not how much money you play.

I go twice a year for about 5 to 7 days each trip and I will never pay for a room again. I use my card for food and never pay for a meal or drinks either.
