Wassup bro... I just took my 12 yr old son and my 14yr old nephew to Vegas last year for a family trip... There is a bunch of stuff in Vegas for kids to do there, but not enough to stay busy the whole week... But, here are some suggestions of the things we did...
- Rode rides at the top of the Stratosphere... Around $30 per person I think for all 3 rides... and jumped off the Stratosphere... Around $100 to jump and another $30 for a video of the jump... The jump was crazy, and if it wasn't so pricey I would of done it again.... I think everybody needs to do it at least once... Unless you have already gone bungy jumping or sky diving cause it doesn't compare... And get the video, cause it is hilarious...
- Circus Circus Adventure Dome... Rides and Carnival games, not to mention circus acts, and also Laser Tag and Wall climbing... I had fun with my kid here, although the hotel is pretty run down since the last time I have been here... Dont even remember how much $$$ I spent here, but had a lot of fun...
- Shark Tank at Mandalay Bay... Pretty cool seeing all the different species of fish and stuff, plus I think they have the only Tiger Shark in captivity in the world... Around $20 per person
- Pole Position near the Palms Hotel... Ended up racing 2 times with the kids cause it was so damn fun... Around $25 per race
- Ate at the Bellagio Buffet... This place was great... King crab legs already cut in half with warm butter on the side and the Prime Rib was why we went there, but pretty much everything on the Buffet line was delicious and the kids loved it, too...
- Fremont Experience Zip Line... Around $20 per person... This wasn't too fun to be honest, but we had to try it at least once...
Some other activities we were looking into doing but didn't...
- Gun Range... Around $300... Too expensive for us...
- Hoover Damn and Grand Canyon... Probably would've been really cool to see, but would've taken a whole day to do...
- Wild Bills/Primm Rollercoaster... Supposed to be the best rollercoaster in Nevada, but was a hour drive from Vegas ... We drove up there but it was closed for some reason so I ended up gambling while the wife and kids checked out the outlet mall in the hotel instead...
Thats pretty much all I can think of right now... We spent a lot of money on activities on this trip, which is probably the same amount I would've gambled anyway, but I think it was worth it for us to experience Vegas with the kids before they go back as adults and see the other side of Vegas... Hope this helps you plan for your trip bro...
