Las Vegas Hilton

Vegas is a socially stratified city so it really depends on how much you want to spend and what is important to you.

If points are the most important thing then stay at the Hilton

If you're there to gamble and to sleep like 4 hours and gamble again then the Hilton  or any cheap place will do just fine

if you're there to party then the Hilton is a cab ride away from most everything so it'll be hard to convince someone to come home with you so stay where you party

if you're there to see the sights then its also a cab ride away from everything too

If you want to hang out at a nice pool then stay at Mandalay or Hard Rock or Wynn

Figure out what's important to you then figure out where you want to stay

Hilton is a bit away from everything if you are walking and driving is always a bitch. 

I appreciate it guys.  Yeah, I'll probably be there for 3 nights, and the first 2 nights, will be staying somewhere on the strip.  My buddy actually has a hookup at the Bellagio, so we may be able to hook up a suite for cheap.  But the third night, it'll be just my girl and I, and we just need a cheap place to crash.  Not really sure what we plan on doing, probably just hang out and grab some food and drinks and gamble a little. 

Nuts:  No, I actually am from the Oklahoma City area.  Moved here for work a few years ago.  It's ok, but I miss home.  Not a lot to do around here, except going to bars and getting drunk.  You recommend any places to eat or hang out?

the only reason i was going to go in the first place was my girlfriend and her family were planning to go for the weekend.  they ended up changing their mind and go to san francisco instead.  want to go there with them, but will be extremely busy during that week with work, so probably smarter to stay home and get some things done.  plus, i'll be heading to chicago the following weekend, so dont know if i want to be dropping that much coin two weekends in a row.
