I have a house in virginia and a house in vegas. Half the casino's have my out of state address in there system and half have my vegas address. Why do I go so much better comps mailed to my out of state address? With the exception of Red Rock almost every casino with my local address has stopped sending me decent comp offers, wtf?

IMHO, it's because of all the "couponers" or what the trolls like to call, "advantage players" (yeah, right).
As in, locals that use the the coupons and offers only, and don't spend another fucking dime in the casino. I've been guilty of this from time to time, that's for sure.
Example, you have a coupon for a restaurant in a casino. You self park, walk straight to the restaurant, eat, take advantage of the great deal and leave.
Another popular one for the coupon trolls is to walk in a casino with a $20 match play, then play one 20 dollar hand and leave, win or lose. I'm guilty of this one as well. Actually, there's nothing to be guilty of. They fucking print the coupons, but this is also why locals see less of them.
If your some touron from the east coast, then you might take advantage of the hotel room rates (something locals generally don't do, as we have our own beds to sleep in). Also, the tourist is more apt to spend more money in a casino on other shit other than the comp.
Basic stuff, I know.

If they think you live in Virginia you are going to be staying for at least a couple days in Vegas, dumping or winning, whateve the case may be, money into the casino. Locals just may use these comps and walk away with no worries, while the out of towners will be more inclined to play, as they are on "vacation" and wont be on their normal daily schedules
