lost bet slip?

i was in vegas this past weekend and placed a few super bowl futures bets. im back home now and cant find my bet slips. anyone have any info on whether or not the casino can help or am i out of luck?

They will ask you for the numbers on the bottom of the ticket, You know the barcode numbers, Of Course you wont have those memorized, who in their right mind would?

In other words, your assed out

if you used a players card they can lock them out so nobody can cash them, then takes 60 days and you have to fill out a lost ticket sheet with the casino. let me kno if you have any other questions being that i work here at a sportsbook in vegas

You'll need some basic information for them to put a lock on the ticket. The bet you made and for how much, day and apx time you made it. You would have to fill out a lost ticket form and there would be a hold time on the ticket of up to 90 days. You would have to do this in person.

If you're out of state, I don't know how that would work. My guess is you would have to do it by email or send them a letter. Jwb may be able to help you with that information if you can get past his brutal grammar.

Your email info should be all that you would need......since you purchased future bets rather than making a sports bet on a game for that day, your ticket will be much rarer and much easier to trace. Having a timeframe for purchase as well as the amount and nature of the bet will give them all they would need (especially since you made a series of bets at the same time).....should only take a few minutes to track down the tickets. They will lock out the tickets, send you a lost ticket report to fill out and sign, and you should (if you win) receive your winnings after 90-120 days from the date of the event.

I didn't know you could do that. I've lost a lot of tickets in the past and always use my card. It would have been good to know this before. Good info thanks.

Bill......That might be true with a particular book/company; but unless you are making mullti-dime bets, most books have no use for your players card because they do not comp for sports bets....only use the card for major bets for identity/tracking purposes.

They comp at station casinos and Boyd. Granted not much about $1 for every $500 but better then nothing I suppose.

Is it really worth betting $5000 to get a free hamburger?....which, at least at Green Valley Ranch, is not even close to Jack-in-the-Box burger at 2 bucks?

I can understand betting at a local book because it's close (although I use William Hill, Cantor, and Stations apps on my smartphone...and that's much closer)....but does anyone really think that sportsbetting is something that gets comped?...as compared to, for instance, penny slots?.....which gets comped much more.

Drink tickets?....Perhaps  Comping?...not at the $1 for every $500 level

I had a buddy one time that was drunk a corona's at the IP sportsbook. He was losing his behind and final hit some hoops teaser or something and could not find his ticket. He swore up and down that some dude that sat down next to him for a few minutes stole it. He got security involved and everything. When they asked him how much the ticket was worth he told them he bet 11-10 so the ticket was worth $21.00. I can't remember if he got paid or not but we got a good laugh and the sportsbook thought he was nuts.

I lost a parlay ticket that I didn't put on my player's card.  I gave them a copy of my ID, filled out a form with my contact info, bet date, bet type, bet amount, the rotation numbers with the teams on the ticket, the time frame I placed the bet, and the window where I went to place the bet.  The supervisor found it within 4 hours and put a hold on the ticket.  I can cash the ticket in 60 days.  

I take a picture of my tickets with my phone just for the heck of it.  I figure it may save me someday.
