I have done this numerous times with tickets from Mesquite, LV, and Wendover. Biggest ticket I have cashed was $300 and have sent numerous tickets in one envelope without sending them registered and never had a problem.
Standard envelopes are sorted by machines anymore and I see no point in making one stand out like registered does.
