Staying there this weekend. Interested in any feed back any Covers users might have on the Hotel/Casino. Stayed my last 2 times at the LVH but wanted to switch it up to something on the strip and to something a little more up to date. Loved the LVH sportsbook, hence why I chose the Grand (10 minute monorail ride to LVH) although I plan on giving their book a chance (any info on that would be great). Just really looking for an idea of the atmosphere, people, and maybe any inside tips anyone might know or have. I got a room in the West Wing tower!

Thanks fellas. I figure worse case I'm a monorail ride to the Bellagio, Aria, or LVH. I'll give the book a try tomorrow night just to get a feel for it. I trust your words but gotta check it for myself. I'm actually more concerned with what their betting options are as opposed to whether or not the atmosphere is comfortable or nice. I'll give a breakdown when I get back!

Dumb question---should know the answer to this already, but don't---is the monorail free?
No, but you can get 3 day passes and what not to bring down the price. Also, it is slow as darn. The whole project was a big waste of money, they could have made it so much better.

Sports book here is a dump! Today the computers were down and you couldn't even place a bet lol pathetic. On top of that the seats are horrible, they're literally school desks with drink holders! Garbage! Been taking the monorail to the lvh. I personally don't mind the ride and think it's fast and efficient. Maybe others have had bad experiences but I don't have one complaint about it this far and I've rode it 5 times!

mgm is great if you like people its usually always got people walking thru but to enjoy a game not so much
a close book right across the bridge at tropicana its cantor and usually empty except when all books are busy sat/sun during college foot ball season
aria has the best screens and usually empty cause its kinda off strip but not really
wynn has the best internet & cocktail waitress come around pretty regularly in my experience but all books have free wifi some just better than others, aris internet used to be great but it sucks now, same with all mgm they switched to a crappy service where you have to give a fake email address to sign on, & some knock you off every hour or so to repeat the process
all the cantors are pretty nice layouts & screens venetian (24/7), tropicana
as far as placing bets there all the same to me, im simple i want least people nicest screens to watch a game
if your a minority avoid bellagio, their racist but owned by mgm & they own like 9 casinos so kinda hard to avoid, but that the only mgm property that blatantly profiles minorities

Uber/Lyft are very easy out there. Superbook is great for watching games, but also can get annoying when people are freaking out every play during basketball/football games. I go there sometimes, some Cantor books are solid. (Hard Rock, Venetian, Palms)

I thought uber was banned from operating in Las Vegas cause they have so many taxis there.
