Just got home from Vegas and hopped around to a few books.
WARNING: Mirage book has about two tvs working right now, both small and in non HD, it is a sad sad state. Just a heads up for now before you book there. Book has always been bad so at least they are upgrading, just dont plan on watching games there for a good month.
Aria book is sweet though i thought i could be bigger. If you bet $20 on ponies you get a drink ticket, but you have to ask the guys there, most are pretty cool, especially the dude in the Raiders jersey.
Caesars is most overrated book out there, been a while since i been, i laughed at it as i walked by, cmon guys.
Planet Hollywood was a good spot tons of TVs and so was Bellagio.
I ate dinner at Prime in Bellagio and had amazing steak dinner for about $100. Worth every penny.
Great mexican as always at Gonzalez y Gonzalez in NY NY, great sports bar there too which is better than most books.
Stayed at Vdara, what an amazing stay that was. Minute walk to Bellagio or Aria for gaming and the corner suite room i had was amazing.
Earl of Sandwich at PH is a good value for lunch as is Ocean One restaurant in PH strip mall. You can grab a decent size lunch or breakfast for under 8 bucks.
And if you get the chance, spend the extra time and go eat at the old school Peppermill for breakfast. 8 egg omeletes, huge pancakes etc etc. Great value in town.
Would def stay again.
