Lots of hotels have safes in the rooms so you could leave it in their and just takw what you plan on spending that day. If there isnt a safe in your room you could always put it in the security deposit box in the lobby or your hotel. personally i keep all my money on me so i know where it is

This comes up a lot. Most every casino cage has safety deposit boxes. If you're staying at the hotel, they're free.
But, I can tell you this, you won't be a target. Everyone has huge amounts of cash on them in this town, compared to most other places.. Just don't be flashing huge rolls of hundys around. But even still, if you're in a casino and bust out a roll the size of your fist, no one will blink, especially if you're at a table or at the betting window. You can easily carry thousands on you at one time, just break it up, as in don't keep it in the same pocket. So, when you got buy a coffee in the morning, you grab a your 20's, not you big bills.
Since moving here, I don't carry a wallet. I carry a money clip with cash, one card and an ID. To put it into even more perspective, you don't even want to know how much some of the runners I know carry around with them sometime. If I said so, I'd be accused of lying.
It's a rough town, but around the casinos, you really don't have to worry.

MWC is right. A hundred dollar bill in Vegas is the equivalent of a quarter anywhere else. It's not uncommon to pay for your cup of coffeee and newspaper with a hundred. The casino is probably the safest place to have a shit load of cash on you. Always be aware though because someone might take a shot at you if you're walking in the parking lot. Heard a lot of runners are packin'.
