Midweek after Labor Day,it's kinda slow but picks right up again Friday..Just speaking from experience every year at the Rio.,I always fly in on LDay and out on Tues or Wed the next week.
Yes the ESPNZONE at NYNY has been closed for some time. You may want to look into Lagasee's (sp?) in the Palazzo but I'm sure like anywhere else on Sunday you want to be there by 9am for seats. All depends on the atmosphere you're looking for,if you like the yelling, screaming packed book then plenty of places for you...Myself the older I get.am liking the back bar at the Gold Coast..all the games and just some Fantasy Football guys in my league also in town for the weekend..place is pretty quiet..Then I move over to the Rio sportsbook bar for the late games..
Everybody and thier brother seems to recommend the Hilton book, but I've never been on an NFL Sunday..Have a good trip man.
