I just got off the phone with Excalibur Hotel. I learned they do not book rooms for more than 14 days. I will be in Vegas for a month... They did offer to let me make reservations for 14 days, 7 days and a final reservation for 6 days. I would have to check out at the end of each reservation. When I asked would I be able to stay in the same room I was informed that they could not guarantee I would not have to move to a different room.
I did ask why only 14 days? The response was to prevent someone from establishing the hotel as a residence.
Question: Where do gamblers stay in Vegas when they stay for a month? 7 Aug till 6 Sept

first have you ever been to Vegas? If yes why would you want to spend a month at the excalibur? Even if you've been there before break up your stay. Different parts of the strip will offer more to do. If you are looking for value The Orleans, Gold coast and Riviera offer pretty good room rates

Well i have never heard of that i lived in the Wynn for 3 months , i played poker there and never had a problem , best places to stay are the ones that will give you rooms for next to nothing if you gamble or play poker for a certain amount per day , when i lived in the Wynn i was paying about 40$ a day PP i had a friend with me , and we just had to play a few hours of poker a day , they obv make up for it in rake .

I would try Sam's Town, Stations. You could easily move via a shuttle service or cab. In downtown, the casinos are within walking distance like Vegas Club, Fremont, Union Plaza, Mainstreet, California, Golden Nugget, lots of rooms at pretty decent rates especially if you play, probably will be comped if you give them action with meal coupons.
