Hey guys - heading to Reno this weekend and need some help. Would be great to hear from some Reno locals or anyone who's been there recently.
Which Reno books offer:
College 1H College 2H College Quarters
Also, how does wireless betting work within the casinos? Do you bet from your own mobile device (phone, laptop, ipad) or does the book supply some kind of device? How does the device get funded and how do payouts work?
Many thanks, good luck!

I'd love to hear people's responses here as well as I'm headed to Reno/Tahoe for three weeks in January. My local offers all of those as do most books in Vegas but not sure about Reno. Keep me posted.
Best,
David

Hey Motowner,

Reno suprisingly differs from Vegas. One example, Reno takes bets on Minor League Baseball, Reno has a team that plays downtown. I asked Vegas sportsbooks if they take action on the Minors, they looked at me kind of funny.
On the mezzanine level there's a walkway between the Eldorado, Silver Legacy and Circus Circus. Making it easy to price shop. Harrah's and Cal Neva are a few blocks away and require walking through the cold air.
Cal Neva's book is so outdated, just like the rest of the place. But it still packs them for NFL and college football.
Personally, I prefer Silver Legacy's book, and much of that has to do with the rest of the hotel. They have very generous comps if you get a player's card. Perhaps, the best comps in Nevads period.

My Vegas Total Rewards host is hooking me up with a Harrah's host in Taho and they're giving me three weeks in a Summit Suite in January. Do you have a good host at Silver Legacy?
