Stayed there for three nights during week of Thanksgiving. Rooms are small and have that old feel/smell to them (which they are). The wife and daughter did not like it at all. They do not want to go back. The sports book is pretty plain not too much good to write about. Small and not a lot of excitement going on. The TV set up and seating area was decent except for lack of chairs.
I did like that the Pinball Hall of Fame loaned some pinball machines to them. It's in an area by the food court. It was a blast playing pinball games past and present.
If you are going because of price they do have one of the best deals going of any hotels in the area.
A suggestion if you don't mind an off strip hotel would be a place I prefer which is The Orleans. If you make reservations now you should be able to get a decent price on a room which are much larger than the Riviera. Nice sports book or nice options to watch games in a large bar area or the Irish Pub.
