I just got this in my e-mail. The Mirage is touting its remodeled rooms for $44 per night for Sunday through Thursday and $88 per night for Friday and Saturday from June 1 to August 30. This is for MGM Mirage Players Club members, but I don't know if I got this offer because I'm on a different tier than other members (since I gladly donate so much of my money to MGM Mirage resorts).
I'm definitely going the first Fri and Sat of June. I've yet to go to the Mirage pool, but I hear great things about it. Never had the Mirage buffet, but hear it's great. My only issue with Mirage (and now TI) is that Pai Gow poker no longer has the Bonus side bet. That definitely takes the fun out of the game, but I like Bellagio's Pai Gow Plus game.
Just note those who go to Vegas frequently, always get a Players Club-type card wherever you stay. I don't know what the Harrah's chain uses. You always get all sorts of deals and they track how much you blow at the gaming tables and slots, so the more you lose, the more you'll be able to finagle a free buffet or nights stay. For instance my last night a recent TI stay was comped (and I didn't lose money at the tables). I guess they want someone of my immense charm and chiseled good looks sauntering through the casino.
