The Cromwell has a new sportsbook

Things are happening fast with sportsbooks in Vegas and they're almost all positive. For those not familiar with The Cromwell it's a small casino on the strip and owned by CET and used to be the Barbary Coast. 

It's small but looks to be very nice judging by the pics I've seen.

Boutique Hotel, Boutique Casino, and a Boutique SportsBook, a great renovation job by CET,

the sportsbook is a convenient place to place a wager, especially if your a guest of the Hotel, just not a place to hangout, your assessment is correct; "it's small (including the screens), but very nice"  

Best thing about the Cromwell  'The Beach Club' and the location, location, location.....

The Barbary Coast was the last 'Surf & Turf'  $9.95  24/7 place standing, at one time this was common in LV casino's , unfortunately it no longer exist.

Just as a FYI, Lakeside at the Wynn is running a $36 surf and turf special. It's a value lovers dream to eat at one of the finest restaurants in LV and not kill the budget.

I'll be in Vegas Sept 18-23 and will checkout the new book and give a quick and smartly written review

were also famous for their Chinese menu in the coffee shop. was a favorite "late night snack" location for years.  Barbary Coast owner Michael Gaughan took all the cooks with him to his South Point Casino coffee shop when he sold out his Coast Casino's to Boyd Gaming

Have to say the Cromwell book is tiny but I really enjoyed myself on two separate trips the past three months. Big screens have great clarity and drink service is decent.. ticket writers are helpful and courteous...im over arena sportsbooks so this fits the bill to a tee...
